Hatha + Yoga Nidra (non-heated, all levels)
This is a moderately paced class with focused attention on body and breath awareness. Postures are generally practiced more slowly and with longer holds to explore felt sensation and individual safety. Slower than a vinyasa flow, however, there may be sequencing using breath to inspire each physical transition. You’ll experience pranayama, movement both on the floor and standing, and sometimes mudra and mantra followed by a short Yoga Nidra meditation. Approximately 55 minutes will be dedicated to breath and movement followed by 20 minutes of stillness in savanasa for the practice of Yoga Nidra.
