Dorinda Burnham
Dorinda discovered yoga in 2013 as a self-described “fair-weather yogi”. Yoga became a priority when her usual workouts seemed to cause more injury and strain. Dorinda committed to her consistent yoga practice in 2017. Working as a mental health therapist, Dorinda prioritizes her physical and mental health and the practice of yoga is a key component of that mind/body connection.
She completed the RYT-200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Red Skies Yoga in 2022 with the intention to deepen her personal practice as well as bring the benefits of yoga to others. The strong family community at Red Skies Yoga made it a perfect environment to begin her teaching.
Dorinda’s approach to yoga remains ever focused on the mind/body benefits, balance between strength and flexibility, and finding meaning in becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable.
