So many things contribute to tightness in the hips and hamstrings–walking, running, stress and probably the biggest culprit- hours spent sitting. The restriction in the hips and inhibition of the hamstrings can create significant pain and discomfort. Unblocking these areas can create space for energy to flow more freely and to lighten the load on your back and even your heart.
In this workshop, we will flow deeply to create heat and length through the backs of the legs and into all areas of the hips. We’ll work with props and the wall and throw in a bit of partner work to go deeper still.
We will be able to access some deeper yoga postures such as forward bends, splits, and arm balances (all with modifications offered throughout!)
